Dia de Los Muertos, Hispanic Heritage Month, and More

¡Hola familias! Hello families!
We have so much to catch up on. We have been busy in Spanish class with so many exciting things like Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and Hispanic Heritage Month last month. We had our Latinx Read-in last month where we shared books written by hispanic and Latix authors and illustrators. Last week we had our day of the dead celebration where we rotated among the classes and all the students were able to participate in a wide range of activities. We had face painting, crafts, and students were even able to help build an "altar." This week we started our new units and we are diving right in with new vocabulary.
