The first few weeks have been a blast getting into the swing of things and establishing our new classroom routines. With Kindergarten we have been busy learning our colors. This week with First grade we read "La Princesa and the Pea" to introduce la familia (the family) vocabulary. Second and third grade have also started our unit on family and we have been working on our writing. Fourth and fifth grade is focusing on descriptions. Describing themselves and others, as well as describing their family members. In middle school we are working on describing physical characteristics and personalities. Sixth grade has begun their project for Hispanic Heritage Month.
